On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, Mehdi Mirabi, a journalist and media activist from Minab County, Hormozgan Province, was summoned to the first branch of the District Attorney's Office of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office of Minab County following a complaint by the County's Department of Sports and Youth.
Based on the notification issued by the director of the District Attorney's Office, the first branch of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office of Minab County, which was issued on August 1, 2023, Mehdi Mirabi must appear at the prosecutor's office within 5 days of receiving the notice to provide explanations regarding the complaint by the Department of Sports and Youth for alleged insult.
It is noteworthy that Mehdi Mirabi faced legal charges after previously writing articles about the poor management performance of the Department of Sports and Youth in Minab County.
In one of his articles published on the Ensaf News website, Mehdi Mirabi addressed the Friday prayer leader, the governor, and the prosecutor of Minab County, stating: "If one were to choose a single person from all the high-ranking, mid-level, and operational managers of the country as the epitome of an ugly and absolutely inefficient figure and consider awarding them the (Exemplary Ineptitude) prize for their performance during their tenure, without a doubt, that person would be none other than the head of the Department of Sports and Youth of Minab County."
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز سه شنبه ۱۰ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، مهدی میرابی، روزنامه نگار و فعال رسانه ای، اهل و ساکن شهرستان میناب از توابع استان هرمزگان، در پی شکایت اداره ورزش و جوانان آن شهرستان، به شعبه اول دادیاری دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب شهرستان میناب، فراخوانده شد.
براساس ابلاغیه صادره توسط مدیر دفتر دادیاری، شعبه اول دادیاری دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب شهرستان میناب که در تاریخ ۱۰ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، صادر شده مهدی میرابی باید ظرف مدت ۵ روز از تاریخ دریافت برای ادای توضیحات در پی (شکایت اداره ورزش و جوانان مبنی بر توهین) در آن دادسرا حاضر شود.
لازم به اشاره است، مهدی میرابی پس از آن با پرونده سازی قضایی مواجه شده که پیشتر مقاله هایی را در خصوص ضعف عملکرد مدیریتی در اداره ورزش و جوانان شهرستان میناب به رشته تحریر در آورده بود.
مهدی میرابی در یکی از مقاله های خود که در وبسایت انصاف نیوز منشر شده بود، خطاب به امام جمعه، فرماندار و دادستان شهرستان میناب نوشته بود:”اگر قرار باشد از کل مدیرانِ رده بالا، میانی و عملیاتیِ کشور یک نفر را به عنوان چهره زشت و ناکارآمدِ مطلق انتخاب کنند و نسبت به عملکردِ دوران مسئولیتش جایزهٔ (بی کفایتِ نمونه) برایش در نظر بگیرند و طی مراسمی آن جایزه را به وی اهدا نمایند، بی شک آن شخص کسی نیست جز، رئیس اداره ورزش و جوانان شهرستان میناب.”
