Fatemeh Rajabpour Choukami, born in 1971 and deceased in 2009, was a postgraduate student in educational technology and a kindergarten teacher at Avaye Baran. She was one of the victims of the events following the presidential election in 2009.
During a large and peaceful demonstration protesting the election results, as the crowd was dispersing, forces stationed at the Basij 117 Ashura base, located at the beginning of Jenah Highway, opened fire on the people. The Avaye Baran kindergarten, where Fatemeh and her mother worked, was situated next to this base.
According to reports, Fatemeh and her mother sought refuge inside the building and courtyard of the kindergarten due to the gunfire. The lifeless bodies of Fatemeh and her mother were discovered hours later by family members. Fatemeh had fallen to the ground after being struck by a bullet, with her glasses shattered on her face. Medical professionals confirmed that both had died instantly from gunshot wounds to the throat and back.
Following the incident, state media attempted to attribute their deaths to "rioters" and referred to them as "martyrs of sedition." However, videos released on YouTube and testimonies from eyewitnesses indicated that the gunfire originated from within the Basij base and that the protesters were unarmed.
فاطمه رجب پور چوکامی (۱۳۵۰-۱۳۸۸)، دانشجوی کارشناسی ارشد تکنولوژی آموزشی و مربی مهدکودک «آوای باران»، یکی از قربانیان مظلوم وقایع پس از انتخابات ریاست جمهوری سال ۱۳۸۸ بود.
در جریان راهپیمایی میلیونی و مسالمت آمیز مردم در اعتراض به نتایج انتخابات، هنگامی که جمعیت در حال متفرق شدن بود، نیروهای مستقر در پایگاه بسیج ۱۱۷ عاشورا (واقع در ابتدای بزرگراه جناح) به سمت مردم تیراندازی کردند. مهدکودک «آوای باران»، محل کار فاطمه و مادرش، درست در مجاورت این پایگاه قرار داشت.
طبق روایتها، فاطمه و مادرش از ترس تیراندازی ها در داخل ساختمان و حیاط مهدکودک پناه گرفته بودند. مادر خانم رجب پور چوکامی نیز در مهد کودک «آوای باران» شاغل بود. پیکر بی جان آن ها ساعاتی بعد توسط اعضای خانواده پیدا شد؛ در حالی که فاطمه بر اثر اصابت گلوله به زمین افتاده و عینک در صورتش خرد شده بود. پزشکان تأیید کردند که هر دو در همان لحظه اصابت گلوله به گلو و کمر، جان سپرده اند.
پس از این حادثه، رسانه های حکومتی تلاش کردند کشته شدن آن ها را به «آشوبگران» نسبت دهند و آن ها را «شهید فتنه» بنامند؛ این در حالی است که ویدئوهای منتشر شده در یوتیوب و شهادت شاهدان عینی نشان می داد تیراندازی ها از داخل پایگاه بسیج به سمت محیط اطراف صورت گرفته و معترضان مسلح نبوده اند.
