عظیم محمودزهی اهل خاش در جریان راهپیمایی به سوی بازار خاش در برابر فرمانداری توقف کردند که با شلیک نیروهای حکومتی از بام فرمانداری و ساختمان های اطراف به قتل رسید.
به گفته همسرش، مامورهای جمهوری اسلامی بعد از اینکه عظیم رو کشتن، انگشتر، گوشی، ساعت و وسایلش رو برداشتن و خودش رو توی بیابون و خاک ها رها کردن.
