در تاریخ 16 خرداد 1405، نیروهای وزارت اطلاعات با ورود به منازل کژال و دانیال رحمانی در کامیاران، این خواهر و برادر را بازداشت و به مکانی نامعلوم منتقل کردند. کژال و دانیال رحمانی از خانواده های دادخواه کردستان هستند. برادر آن ها، جمال رحمانی، از اعضای شورای رهبری جامعه دموکراتیک و آزاد شرق کردستان (کودار)، در سال 1397 توسط نیروهای سپاه پاسداران کشته شد. کژال رحمانی، فعال مدنی و پرستار سابق بیمارستان سینای کامیاران، پیش تر نیز بارها توسط نهادهای امنیتی احضار و بازجویی شده بود و در پی فشارهای امنیتی، شغل خود را از دست داد. دانیال رحمانی، دانشجوی مهندسی کامپیوتر دانشگاه آزاد سنندج نیز طی سال های گذشته بارها توسط نهادهای امنیتی احضار و مورد بازجویی قرار گرفته بود. اطلاعاتی درباره محل نگهداری و وضعیت این دو خواهر و برادر در دسترس نیست.

Danial Rahmani has been in the detention center of the Kamyaran Intelligence Department. Danial Rahmani has also been repeatedly beaten by security interrogators.
On 5 June 2026, forces from the Ministry of Intelligence entered the homes of Kajal and Danial Rahmani in Kamyaran, arresting the siblings and transferring them to an undisclosed location. Kajal and Danial Rahmani are from families seeking justice in Kurdistan. Their brother, Jamal Rahmani, a member of the Leadership Council of the Free and Democratic Society of Eastern Kurdistan (KODAR), was killed by the Revolutionary Guards in 2018. Kajal Rahmani, a civil activist and former nurse at Sina Hospital in Kamyaran, had previously been summoned and interrogated multiple times by security agencies, leading to the loss of her job due to security pressures. Danial Rahmani, a computer engineering student at Islamic Azad University of Sanandaj, had also been summoned and interrogated by security agencies several times in recent years. There is no available information regarding the whereabouts and condition of the siblings.
