Ahmad Lajm Orok, who was detained during the nationwide protests in 2025 in Izeh, has been sentenced to two years and one day in prison upon appeal. The Khuzestan Province Court of Appeal upheld the initial verdict but suspended one year of the sentence for two years.
According to the ruling issued by Branch 14 of the Khuzestan Province Court of Appeal and communicated to his lawyer, Hossein Ali Hatami, Mr. Lajm Orok was sentenced to two years and one day in prison for "disrupting public order" under Article 286 of the Islamic Penal Code. The court also suspended one year of this sentence for two years. Previously, in the initial trial, the Izeh Revolutionary Court had sentenced him to the same term for the same charge.
Ahmad Lajm Orok, a conscript, was arrested by security forces on 8 January 2026 during the nationwide protests. He was later released on 14 February 2026 after posting bail of 1.5 billion tomans.
احمد لجم اورک، از بازداشت شدگان اعتراضات سراسری ۱۴۰۴ در ایذه، در مرحله تجدیدنظر به دو سال و یک روز حبس محکوم شد. دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان خوزستان ضمن تأیید حکم صادره در مرحله بدوی، یک سال از این مجازات را به مدت دو سال به حالت تعلیق درآورد.
بر اساس حکمی که توسط شعبه ۱۴ دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان خوزستان صادر و به حسین علی حاتمی، وکیل مدافع این شهروند ابلاغ شده است، آقای لجم اورک از بابت اتهام «اخلال در نظم عمومی» با استناد به تبصره ماده ۲۸۶ قانون مجازات اسلامی به دو سال و یک روز حبس محکوم شده است. همچنین دادگاه یک سال از این مجازات را به مدت دو سال به حالت تعلیق درآورده است.
این شهروند پیش تر در مرحله بدوی توسط دادگاه انقلاب ایذه از بابت همین اتهام به دو سال و یک روز حبس محکوم شده بود.
احمد لجم اورک، سرباز وظیفه در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ماه، در جریان اعتراضات سراسری ۱۴۰۴ توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شد. وی سپس در تاریخ ۲۵ بهمن ماه، با تودیع وثیقه یک میلیارد و ۵۰۰ هزار تومان آزاد شده بود.
