از بازداشت شدگان اعتراضات دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ و تبعه کشور افغانستان که در بند زنان زندان اوین محبوس است، توسط دستگاه قضایی جمهوری اسلامی ایران به تحمل ۵ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد. این زندانی سیاسی به دلیل محرومیت از رسیدگی های پزشکی و فشار شدید روانی، دست کم دو بار در زندان اقدام به خودکشی کرده است.

Ms. Sharifi attempted suicide by drinking descaler on the evening of Friday, July 10, 2026. After her condition worsened, she was first transferred to Loghman Hospital and then to Taleghani Hospital, where she remains under treatment.
A detainee from the December 2025 protests, an Afghan national currently held in the women’s ward of Evin Prison, has been sentenced by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to five years of discretionary imprisonment.
This political prisoner, due to deprivation of medical care and severe psychological pressure, has attempted suicide at least twice while in prison.
