Elham Toghiani the victim owned a shop selling prepared vegetables in Zarrin Shahr and was the mother of 22yearold twin children.
She was killed by a sniper positioned near Golriz Passage in Zarrin Shahr. Elham who was there with her husband tried to flee when government forces began shooting but the sniper targeted her.
The Islamic Republics state broadcaster IRIB attempted to portray Elhams killing in favor of the government but her family resisted and refused to give an interview.
Elham who was a Qashqai Turk ran a readytocook vegetable shop in Zarrin Shahr where 10 people were directly employed.
Her parents were from families of those killed in the Iran–Iraq War. Elham had been trying to improve the living conditions of her sons and had recently begun planning their marriages but the bullet fired by the suppressive forces shattered her dreams.

الهام طغیانی صاحب مغازه عرضه سبزی آماده در زرین شهر بوده و مادر دو فرزند دوقلوی ۲۲ ساله نیز بود.
با شلیک تک تیرانداز مستقر در محدوده پاساژ «گلریز» در زرین شهر به قتل رسید. الهام که به همراه همسرش در آن محدوده بود با شروع تیراندازی ماموران حکومتی می خواست فرار کند که تک تیرانداز او را هدف گرفت. صداوسیمای جمهوری اسلامی قصد داشت کشته شدن الهام را به نفع حکومت مصادره کند ولی خانواده مقاومت کردند و حاضر به مصاحبه نشدند. الهام که ترک قشقایی بود یک مغازه عرضه سبزی آماده در زرین شهر را اداره می کرد که ۱۰ نفر به طور مستقیم در آن مشغول به کار بودند. پدر و مادر الهام از خانواده کشته شدگان جنگ ایران و عراق بودند. الهام در تلاش بود تا وضعیت زندگی پسرانش را سامان دهد و به تازگی برای ازدواج آن ها برنامه ریزی کرده بود اما گلوله ماموران سرکوب رویاهایش را بر باد داد.
