Shokufe Choupan Nejad, a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology residing in Canada, was born on 29 September 1965 in Najafabad, Isfahan. She was the youngest child of Hossein Choupan Nejad, the principal of Pahlavi High School, and was the first graduate from Najafabad. At the age of 15, she obtained her diploma and entered the Faculty of Medicine at Isfahan University. She achieved the fourth rank in the specialized board examination in obstetrics and gynecology. After graduation, she volunteered to assist her professor in challenging surgeries to gain more experience.
She migrated to the United Arab Emirates, where she worked in a hospital and learned Arabic. She had one son and two daughters. In 2011, she decided to immigrate to Canada. She volunteered at a nursing home and the Canadian Red Cross. After one year, she began working at Northgate Center Medical Clinic in Edmonton. She was proactive in organizing charitable activities.
On 8 January 2020, Shokufe Choupan Nejad, along with her two daughters, Sara and Saba, lost their lives in the crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752, which was shot down by missiles from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
شکوفه چوپان نژاد (مقیم کانادا) متخصص زنان و زایمان، ۲۹ شهریور ۱۳۴۴ در نجف آباد اصفهان دیده به جهان گشود. وی کوچکترین فرزند حسین چوپان نژاد مدیر دبیرستان پهلوی بود و اولین لیسانس ی نجف آباد بود. در 15 سالگی دیپلم گرفت و وارد دانشکده پزشکی دانشگاه اصفهان شد . رتبه چهارم بورد تخصصی زنان و زایمان را ازآن خود کرد. پس از فارغ التحصیلی پیشنهاد داد که داوطلبانه در عمل های سخت در کنار استادش باشد تا بیشتر بیاموزد. به امارات مهاجرت کرد و در بیمارستانی مشغول کار شد و زبان عربی را آموخت. یک پسر و دو دختر داشت. در سال ۲۰۱۱ تصمیم به مهاجرت کانادا گرفت. داوطلبانه در خانه سالمندان و صلیب سرخ کانادا فعاليت كرد. پس از یک سال در بیمارستان Northgate Center Medical Clinic درشهر ادمونتون مشغول به کار شد. او هر زمان برای سازماندهی خیریه پیش قدم بود.
شكوفه چوپان نژاد به همراه دو دخترش سارا و صبا ۱۸ دی ۱۳۹۸، در سقوط پرواز شماره PS752 خطوط هوایی بین المللی اوکراین که با شلیک موشک های پدافند هوایی سپاه پاطداران انقلاب اسلامی سرنگون شد جان خود را از دست دادند.
