Hojjat Alizadegan has been imprisoned in Yazd Central Prison since 2024 on charges of supporting the People's Mojahedin Organization. He was recently transferred to Saravan Prison.
According to information from informed sources, this political prisoner suffers from a severe lung disease and requires specialised medical care. However, the authorities at Yazd Central Prison, in coordination with the Ministry of Intelligence, had prevented his transfer to medical facilities outside the prison. It has been reported that after his transfer, the authorities at Saravan Prison did not provide him with the necessary medication and personal belongings. This action occurred despite the importance of continued medication and access to medical care for Hojjat Alizadegan due to his lung condition.
Reports also describe the conditions in Saravan Prison as very poor and unsanitary. Prior to his transfer, there were also reports about the deterioration of his physical condition and his deprivation of medical treatment.
حجت علیزادگان، از سال ۱۴۰۳ به اتهام هواداری از سازمان مجاهدین خلق در زندان مرکزی یزد محبوس بوده است. وی اخیرا از این زندان به زندان سراوان تبعید شده است.
بر اساس اطلاعات دریافتی از منابع مطلع، این زندانی سیاسی به بیماری شدید ریوی مبتلاست و به مراقبت پزشکی تخصصی نیاز دارد.

گزارش های رسیده همچنین شرایط نگهداری در زندان سراوان را بسیار نامناسب و غیربهداشتی توصیف می کنند. پیش از تبعید نیز گزارش هایی درباره وخامت وضعیت جسمانی و محرومیت او از درمان منتشر شده بود.
