منصور هرمزی که پس از۴سال بخاطر یک اتهام غیراثبات شده یک هفته پیش از مورد اصابت گلوله قرارگرفتنش در اعتراضات ۹مهر ۱۴۰۱زاهدان،از زندان آزاد شده بود. با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای نظامی به کما رفت و پس از ۱۰۸ روز در کما بودن در ۲۷دی۱۴۰۱ در اثر جراحات وارده جان داد
