Reports indicate that Basij forces shot Milad near a Basij base, with the bullet exiting through his ear. He passed away and was due to marry in the near future. Instead of a wedding ceremony, his funeral was transformed into a symbolic wedding.
It is reported that after the shooting, Milad's lifeless body was taken to a clinic. Authorities made several attempts to take his body, but were unsuccessful due to public resistance. During this time, another protester who had been shot survived and drew the attention of the authorities.
Meanwhile, Milad's relatives placed his body in a car, with his sister also present. His body was laid on the floor of the car, and his sister lay on top of it to prevent the body from being seen by authorities as they passed by. Ultimately, the family was able to bury him in a local cemetery.
Reports also mention that Milad was supposed to purchase a car on 8 January, but he was killed the day before. With his burial, the efforts and dreams of his family were also laid to rest.

در این فاصله، نزدیکان میلاد پیکر او را داخل ماشینی قرار دادند و خواهرش نیز در آن حضور داشت. جسد میلاد در کف ماشین قرار گرفت و خواهرش بر روی آن دراز کشید تا هنگام عبور از مقابل ماموران، جسد دیده نشود. در نهایت، خانواده توانستند او را در آرامستانی محلی به خاک بسپارند.
گزارش ها همچنین اشاره دارند که میلاد قرار بود در 18 دی ماه ماشینی بخرد، اما یک روز قبل از آن کشته شد. با دفن او، زحمات و آرزوهای خانواده اش نیز به خاک سپرده شد.
