Human Rights in Iran - Today, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, Hesam Moradi, despite some time having passed since his arrest, is deprived of the basic rights of an accused person.
According to Human Rights in Iran, today, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, Hesam Moradi, born in 1990, married with a 1-year-old daughter, residing in Borazjan, a city in Bushehr province, despite having completed his interrogation period and being transferred to Bushehr Central Prison following the issuance of an 800 billion toman bail by the case investigator, is not only in limbo regarding his detention but is also deprived of the right to access a lawyer and other civil rights of an accused person.
According to a source close to Hesam Moradi’s family in an interview with the Human Rights in Iran reporter: "The charge that led to Hesam Moradi's arrest (setting fire to the office of the Borazjan representative in the Parliament) has been stated, and for his release, a bail of 800 billion tomans has been requested by the prosecutor. Hesam Moradi, after some time since his arrest and transfer to the detention center of the Bushehr Province Intelligence Department, and after undergoing interrogation procedures, was ultimately transferred to Bushehr Prison. He has been denied the right to telephone contact with his family, in-person visits, and even the right to have a lawyer involved in his case. Only about 8 days after his arrest, his wife, with the help of a relative who works in intelligence, managed to have a 2-minute meeting with him in Bushehr Prison."
It is noteworthy that Hesam Moradi was arrested on July 8, 2023, by agents of the Intelligence Department of Borazjan County and, after being transferred to the detention center of that security agency and undergoing interrogation procedures, was ultimately transferred to Bushehr Central Prison.
Before his arrest, Hesam Moradi was engaged in the business of selling electrical appliances.
حقوق بشر در ایران ـ امروز سه شنبه ۲۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، حسام مرادی، علیرغم گذشت مدتی از تاریخ دستگیری از حقوق اولیه یک متهم محروم است.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، امروز سه شنبه ۲۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، حسام مرادی، متولد: ۱۳۶۹، متاهل و دارای ۱ فرزند دختر ۱ ساله، ساکن شهرستان برازجان از توابع استان بوشهر، علیرغم سپری کردن دوران بازجویی ها و انتقال به زندان مرکزی بوشهر در پی صدور وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۸ میلیارد تومان از سوی بازپرس پرونده اش، علاوه بر بلاتکلیفی در بازداشت از حق دسترسی به وکیل و سایر حقوق شهروندی یک متهم محروم است.
به نقل از یک منبع نزدیک به خانواده حسام مرادی در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”اتهامی که منجر به بازداشت حسام مرادی شده (آتش زدن دفتر نماینده مردم برزاجان در مجلس) عنوان گردیده و برای آزادی وی وصیقه ای به مبلغ ۸ میلیارد از سوی دادستان درخواست شده است. حسام مرادی، پس از گذشت مدتی از تاریخ دستگیری و انتقال به بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات استان بوشهر و طی مراحل بازجویی ها در نهایت به زندان بوشهر منتقل شد و از حق تماس تلفنی با خانواده، ملاقات حضوری و حتی از حق ورود وکیل به پرونده اش ممانعت بعمل آمده و فقط حدود ۸ روز که از بازداشت او گذشته بود همسرش با کمک یکی از اقوامشان که در اطلاعات است، توانست ملاقات ۲ دقیقه ای با او در زندان بوشهر داشته باشد.”
لازم به اشاره است حسام مرادی، در تاریخ ۱۷ تیر ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط ماموران اداره اطلاعات شهرستان برازجان، بازداشت و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه آن نهاد امنیتی و طی مراحل بازجویی ها در نهایت به زندان مرکزی بوشهر، منتقل شده است.
حسام مرادی، تا پیش از بازداشت به شغل فروش لوزام الکتریکی مشغول بوده است.
