Imran Amani, a resident of Gonbad-e Kavus, was sentenced to death on 24 October 2026 by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Iman Afshari, on charges of "enmity against God."
According to published reports, Imran Amani was arrested in Tehran on 11 February 2026, along with his two housemates, Alireza Dolati and Mohammad Khalizadeh. At the time of their arrest, all three were working as motorcycle couriers for the SnappBox company.
Reports indicate that Imran Amani was severely beaten during his arrest and was held in solitary confinement for two months after being transferred to a detention centre.
Additionally, published information suggests that this young man was subjected to severe torture during his detention to extract forced confessions. It is reported that his right shoulder was broken during torture at Evin Prison, and he has been deprived of appropriate medical care and treatment for several months.

بر اساس گزارش های منتشرشده، عمران امانی روز ۲۲ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۴ به همراه دو هم خانه خود، علیرضا دولتی و محمد خالی زاده، در تهران بازداشت شد. هر سه نفر در زمان بازداشت به عنوان پیک موتوری شرکت اسنپ باکس فعالیت می کردند.
گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که عمران امانی هنگام بازداشت به شدت مورد ضرب وشتم قرار گرفته و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه، به مدت دو ماه در سلول انفرادی نگهداری شده است.
همچنین بر اساس اطلاعات منتشرشده، این جوان در دوران بازداشت برای اخذ اعترافات اجباری تحت شکنجه شدید قرار گرفته است. گفته می شود کتف راست او در جریان شکنجه در زندان اوین شکسته، اما با گذشت چندین ماه، همچنان از رسیدگی و درمان پزشکی مناسب محروم مانده است.
