Armin Soltan Mohammadi, a 19-year-old teenager, was fatally shot in the head on the evening of 8 January 2026 in the area of the Third Square of Tehranpars in eastern Tehran.
Reports indicate that the teenager disappeared around 11 PM while protesting, and at 2 AM, his family was contacted by the hospital and informed of his passing. He was laid to rest in Behesht-e Zahra, Tehran.
Armin was a worker who had previously been employed in mechanics and had recently changed his profession to house painting.
The teenager's involvement was linked to a call for gatherings on Thursday and Friday, 8 and 9 January 2026, which brought large crowds to the streets across Iran. Reports suggest that many individuals were killed during these two days. The news of Armin's death was communicated to his family at 2 AM on 9 January.
آرمین سلطان محمدی، نوجوان ۱۹ساله، در شامگاه پنج شنبه ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در محدوده فلکه سوم تهران پارس در شرق تهران با شلیک گلوله به سرش کشته شده است.
گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که این نوجوان حدود ساعت ۱۱ شب در حال اعتراض ناپدید شده و ساعت ۲ نیمه شب از بیمارستان با خانواده او تماس گرفته و اعلام شده که او جان باخته است. او در بهشت زهرای تهران به خاک سپرده شده است.
آرمین کارگر بوده و پیش تر در مکانیکی کار می کرده و اخیراً حرفه خود را به نقاشی ساختمان تغییر داده بوده است.
اشاره این نوجوان به فراخوان برای تجمع در روزهای پنج شنبه و جمعه ۱۸ و ۱۹ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ بوده که در سرتاسر ایران جمعیت گسترده ای را به خیابان ها آورد. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که در این دو روز تعداد زیادی از افراد کشته شدند. خبر کشته شدن آرمین ساعت ۲ بامداد جمعه ۱۹ دی به خانواده اش اعلام شد.
