آرمیتا پاویر، فعال دانشجویی و دانشجوی زیست شناسی سلولی مولکولی دانشگاه شهید مدنی آذربایجان، روز ۷ تیرماه ۱۴۰۲، در منزل شخصی خود بازداشت شد .
آرمیتا در تاریخ ۹ آبان سال گذشته در جریان اعتراضات سراسری پس از کشته شدن مهسا امینی در مقابل دانشگاه شهید مدنی آذربایجان بازداشت و ۱۷ آذر ۱۴۰۱، با تودیع وثیقه ۲۵۰ میلیونی تومانی از زندان تبریز آزاد شد.

Armita was arrested during nationwide protests following the killing of Mahsa Amini in front of Shahid Madani University of Azerbaijan on November 30, 2022, and was released from Tabriz prison on December 8, 2022, after posting a bail of 250 million Tomans.
She had written on her Twitter: Very briefly and usefully: I went to court, they said they called you to say you have been pardoned, write a statement of regret and a commitment letter according to the circular, we will close the case... I rejected the pardon and came, my final verdict will be communicated today or tomorrow. You may see my death, but never my surrender...
