Reports indicate that the night of 9 January 2026 was not as crowded as the previous night, with the crowd forming around 8 PM. At this time, special forces attacked the crowd from three sides, and shooting began.
Maryam and her sister were together, with her sister trying to look after her. When Maryam fell to the ground, she mentioned being shot and lost consciousness. Her sister initially thought it was a pellet shot, but it was later revealed that two live bullets had struck her.
Maryam's body was found in Kahrizak on the morning of 10 January 2026. Family members searched for her from 8 AM to 4 PM, and her body was buried in a secure environment.
Reports suggest that Maryam's body was filled with pellets from the waist up, and severe violence occurred during the Nezamabad protests. Injured individuals were shot at and killed. After ten minutes of continuous shooting, people searched for vehicles to transport the wounded. Maryam was taken to the hospital but passed away in her sister's arms.

پیکر مریم صبح روز 20 دی 1404 در کهریزک یافت شد. اعضای خانواده از ساعت 8 صبح تا 4 بعدازظهر به دنبال او بودند و پیکرش در فضایی امنیتی به خاک سپرده شد.
گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که بدن مریم از کمر به بالا پر از ساچمه بود و در اعتراضات نظام آباد خشونت شدیدی رخ داده بود. به زخمی ها تیراندازی می شد و آن ها کشته می شدند. پس از ده دقیقه شلیک بی وقفه، مردم به دنبال وسیله نقلیه برای انتقال مجروحان بودند. مریم به بیمارستان منتقل شد، اما در آغوش خواهرش جان باخت.
