Noyan Hejazi, a Baha'i citizen residing in Juybar, has been sentenced by Branch 102 of the Criminal Court Two of the city to seven months and 16 days of imprisonment on charges of propaganda against the regime. Additionally, he has been fined 122,501,000 tomans and sentenced to ten years and one day of deprivation of social rights for what has been termed as "promoting the Baha'i faith."
Previously, on 24 June 2025, Noyan Hejazi was arrested at his private residence in Juybar by government forces without any judicial warrant or legal authorization. After completing the interrogation process and initial trial, he was temporarily released on bail on 3 August of the same year, pending the completion of legal proceedings.
According to informed sources, government forces severely beat Noyan Hejazi during the arrest on the street. As a result of repeated kicks to his abdomen and chest, this Baha’i citizen suffered broken and fractured ribs. Due to the severity of his injuries and intense pain caused by the abuse, he was transferred to a hospital a few hours after his arrest under the supervision of these forces.

وی همچنین از بابت آنچه «تبلیغ دین بهائی» نامیده شده، به پرداخت ۱۲۲ میلیون و ۵۰۱ هزار تومان جزای نقدی و ۱۰ سال و یک روز محرومیت از حقوق اجتماعی محکوم گردیده است.
نویان حجازی پیشتر در تاریخ ۴ تیرماه ۱۴۰۴، بدون ارائه هرگونه برگه قضایی یا مجوز قانونی، توسط نیروهای حکومتی در منزل شخصی خود در جویبار بازداشت شده بود. وی پس از اتمام فرآیند بازجویی و دادرسی اولیه، در تاریخ ۱۲ مرداد همان سال با تودیع قرار وثیقه به صورت موقت و تا پایان مراحل دادرسی آزاد شده بود.
به گفته منابع آگاه، نیروهای حکومری در زمان بازداشت نویان حجازی در خیابان را مورد ضرب وشتم شدید قرار داده اند. در پی اصابت لگدهای مکرر نیروهای حکومتی به ناحیه شکم و سینه، این شهروند بهائی دچار شکستگی و ترک خوردگی دنده شده و به دلیل شدت جراحات و درد شدید ناشی از شکنجه، ساعاتی پس از بازداشت به ناچار تحت نظارت این نیروها به بیمارستان منتقل شده است.
