Continued Detention and Uncertainty for Mohammadreza Abdollahpour in Ghezel Hesar Prison
Mohammadreza Abdollahpour, an anaesthesiologist and one of those arrested during the nationwide protests in 2025, is being held in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj without a clear resolution to his case.
It has been reported that Mohammadreza Abdollahpour was arrested by security forces on 23 January 2026 in a northern city of the country. He has been accused of charges including the murder of a police officer during the protests on 9 January 2026 in the Saadat Abad area of Tehran.
Reports also indicate that he has been denied access to a chosen lawyer. His court sessions were held in May 2026, and no verdict has been issued for him so far.

محمدرضا عبدالله پور، دکتر بیهوشی و از بازداشت شدگان اعتراضات سراسری 1404، در زندان قزلحصار کرج به صورت بلاتکلیف نگهداری می شود.
گزارش شده است که محمدرضا عبدالله پور در 3 بهمن ماه 1404 در یکی از شهرهای شمالی کشور توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شد. او به اتهاماتی از جمله قتل یکی از ماموران پلیس در جریان اعتراضات 19 دی ماه 1404 در منطقه سعادت آباد تهران متهم شده است.
همچنین گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که وی از دسترسی به وکیل تعیینی محروم مانده است. جلسات دادگاه وی در اردیبهشت ماه 1405 برگزار شده و تاکنون حکمی برای او صادر نشده است.
