The identity of one of the individuals killed during the protests on Thursday January 8 2026 in the Ferdows area of Karaj has been confirmed as Kianoush Shirin Bayan a 39yearold from Sahneh a district in Kermanshah province.
He was residing in Karaj due to his employment at a factory.
Kianoush Shirin Bayan was killed by direct gunfire from the Islamic Republics security forces during the protests in the city.
Siamak Azami a member of the grieving families who lost his brother Sepehr in the "Woman Life Freedom" movement identified Kianoush as a relative and wrote on his social media account that Kianoushs body was returned to the family three days later on January 11 2026.
He also reported that the deceased protestors family was subjected to harassment and threats stating that security agencies did not allow a funeral ceremony to be held and pressured the family to conduct the burial in silence.
The body was buried in his hometown the city of Sahneh.

هویت یکی از کشته شدگان اعتراضات در روز پنجشنبه ۱۸دی۱۴۰۴ در منطقه «فردیس» کرج «کیانوش شیرین بیان» ۳۹ ساله اهل «صحنه» از توابع استان کرمانشاه احراز شده است.
او به دلیل اشتغال به کار در یک کارخانه در کرج ساکن بود.
کیانوش شیرین بیان در جریان اعتراضات این شهر با شلیک مستقیم گلوله جنگی نیروهای سرکوب جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد.
سیامک اعظمی عضو خانواده های دادخواه که برادرش سپهر را در جنبش «زن زندگی آزادی» از دست داده کیانوش را یکی از بستگان خود معرفی کرده و در حساب کاربری ایکس نوشته است که پیکر کیانوش سه روز بعد در تاریخ ۲۱دی۱۴۰۴ به خانواده تحویل داده شد.
او همچنین از آزار و تهدید خانواده این کشته شده اعتراضات خبر داده و گفته است که نهادهای امنیتی اجازه برگزاری مراسم تشییع پیکر را ندادند و خانواده را تحت فشار گذاشتند که خاکسپاری باید در سکوت انجام بگیرد.
پیکر او در زادگاهش شهر صحنه به خاک سپرده شد.
