Kaveh Karimian, a civil activist and member of the Sabz Chia Environmental Association residing in the suburbs of Marivan County in Kurdistan Province, has been released on bail following the completion of interrogations and the formal presentation of charges.

Kaveh Karimian was arrested by security forces in the village of Nechi, located in the suburbs of Marivan County, on 10 September 2023. After being transferred to a detention centre of a security agency in Kurdistan Province, he was subjected to interrogations and charged at the investigation branch of the Marivan Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office before being transferred to the county's prison.
