According to Human Rights in Iran, on Tuesday, 13 June 2023, Mehdi Monirinejad was arrested by security forces in the city of Shiraz, the capital of Fars province, and taken to an unknown location.
According to an informed source in a conversation with a human rights reporter in Iran: "The security officers transferred this citizen to an unknown place after his arrest in Shiraz province and have prevented him from contacting his family until now.
It should be noted that Mehdi Monirinezhad is a civil activist and originally from the Qashqai clan in Fars provinces.
Until the moment of writing this news, no information has been obtained about the place of detention, the name of the arresting body and the legal cases of the accusations of this citizen.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز سه شنبه ۲۳ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، دکترمهدی منیری نژاد ـ در شهر شیراز مرکز استان فارس، توسط نیروهای امنیتی، بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد.
به نقل از یک منبع مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”ماموران امنیتی این شهروند را پس از بازداشت در استان شیراز به مکان نامعلومی منتقل کردند و تا به الان مانع برقراری تماس با خانوادهایش شدند.
لازم به اشاره است، مهدی منیری نژاد، فعال مدنی و اصالتا از طایفه ایل قشقایی در استانهای فارس میباشد.
تا لحظه تنظیم این خبر، از مکان نگهداری، نام ارگان بازداشت کننده و مصادیق حقوقی اتهامات این شهروند اطلاعی حاصل نشده است.
