According to reports from human rights sources, Faramarz Shahnavazi, a citizen of Baloch descent, was married and a father of two children. He lived in the village of Azadabad, located in the Roteck region of Khash County.
On Sunday, 8 October 2024, while he was driving, he was ambushed by law enforcement forces from the 119th checkpoint in the Roteck area. He was shot without prior warning and was killed.

او صبح یکشنبه ۸ مهر ۱۴۰۳ (۲۹ سپتامبر ۲۰۲۴) زمانی که در حال حرکت با خودرو بود، در کمین نیروهای انتظامی پاسگاه ۱۱۹ منطقه روتک قرار گرفت و بدون ایست و هشدار قبلی هدف تیراندازی مستقیم قرار گرفت و کشته شد.
