یوسف خوش کیش که پیش از انقلاب ۱۳۵۷ به عنوان رئیس کل بانک مرکزی ایران فعالیت می کرد، پس از انقلاب دستگیر شد. وی به اتهاماتی از جمله ثابت نگه داشتن ارزش ریال ایران برابر دلار آمریکا محاکمه و در 24 مرداد 1359 اعدام شد.

After the revolution, a case was filed against Khoshkish; however, he was initially not convicted and was instead forced into retirement and house arrest. Less than two years later, on August 9, 10, and 11, 1980, his case was reopened by court order, and this time he was sentenced to death on charges of spreading corruption on earth and waging war against God.
Yousef Khosh-Kish, who served as the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran before the 1979 revolution, was arrested following the revolution. He was tried on charges including maintaining the value of the Iranian rial against the United States dollar and was executed on 24 August 1980.
