A source reported that Danial's family was unaware of his fate for ten days until his uncle identified his lifeless body in one of the morgues in the city of Qazvin on the tenth day. دانیال ابراهیم زاده ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ بر اثر ضربه شدید باتوم ماموران به ناحیه جمجمه دچار خون ریزی مغزی شد و جان خود را از دست داد.
به گزارش یک منبع آگاه خانواده دانیال به مدت ۱۰ روز از سرنوشت او بی اطلاع بودند تا اینکه در روز دهم عمویش پیکر بی جان او را در یکی از سردخانه های شهر قزوین شناسایی کرد. بنا بر این گزارش قرار بوده پیکر دانیال به عنوان فرد «مجهول الهویه» دفن شود.
دانیال به تنهایی زندگی می کرد و در یک شرکت خصوصی در قزوین مشغول به کار بود. او ورزشکار و دارای مدال قهرمانی بوکس بود.
طبق گزارش پزشکی قانونی علت مرگ «برخورد جسم سخت به سر» اعلام شده است. با این حال بر روی پیکر او آثار متعدد جراحت مشاهده شده؛ از جمله آثار ساچمه و کبودی روی پیشانی ضربه شدید از ناحیه گیجگاه تا پشت گوش کبودی چشم و خون ریزی از بینی. به گفته شاهدان سرمای سردخانه باعث باز شدن پوست در ناحیه آسیب دیده سر شده بود.
عموی دانیال پس از مشاهده وضعیت پیکر اعتراض می کند اما به او هشدار داده می شود که در صورت پیگیری اتهام «قتل یک بسیجی» به او نسبت داده خواهد شد. پس از این تهدید وی ناچار به سکوت می شود.
