In the late hours of Monday, August 18, 2025, Shahram Fallah, a Baha'i citizen residing in Kerman Province, was arrested by the provincial intelligence officers, who also confiscated some of his personal belongings.
According to an informed source, officers raided Mr. Fallah's home, searched the premises, confiscated personal items including his mobile phone, and ultimately arrested him.
The informed source further stated that Shahram Fallah was transferred to the detention center of the Kerman Provincial Intelligence Department to face legal proceedings solely because he is a Baha'i citizen. He has been denied access to a lawyer and other civil rights.
At the time of this report, the specific legal charges against Shahram Fallah remain unknown.
It is noteworthy that Shahram Fallah was previously arrested on July 12, 2023, after security forces raided his home in Kerman Province. He was taken to the Kerman Intelligence Detention Center located at the central prison of the city and was released on bail on July 26, 2023.
As the legal proceedings began, Shahram Fallah's first trial session took place on January 24, 2024, and the second session regarding the charges against this Baha'i citizen occurred on April 25, 2024, conducted by the judge of Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court of Kerman. He was sentenced to a five-year suspension of social rights for the charge of "propaganda against the regime."
Following an appeal and referral of Shahram Fallah's case to Branch 7 of the Kerman Provincial Court of Appeals, a ruling of non-prosecution was issued.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، در ساعات پایانی دوشنبه ۲۷ مردادماه ۱۴۰۴، شهرام فلاح، شهروند بهائی، ساکن استان کرمان، توسط ماموران اداره اطلاعات آن استان، دستگیر و برخی لوازم شخصی وی را توقیف کردند.
به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”ماموران، با یورش به منزل آقای فلاح، پس از تفتیش منزل، برخی لوازم شخصی از قبیل، گوشی تلفن همراه این شهروند بهایی را توقیف و در نهایت وی را هم دستگیر کردند.”
این فرد مطلع در ادامه افزود:”شهرام فلاح، برای تشکیل پرونده قضایی «فقط به علت اینکه یک شهروند بهایی است» به بازداشتگاه اداره کل اطلاعات استان کرمان، منتقل شده و از حق دسترسی به وکیل و سایر حقوق شهروندی اش هم محروم است.”
تا لحظه تنظیم این خبر، از مصادیق حقوقی اتهامات منتسب شده به شهرام فلاح، اطلاعی حاصل نشده است.
لازم به ذکر است، شهرام فلاح، پیشتر هم در تاریخ ۲۱ تیر ماه ۱۴۰۲، پس از یورش نیروهای امنیتی، به منزل وی در استان کرمان، بازداشت و به بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات کرمان واقع در زندان مرکزی آن شهر منتقل و در تاریخ ۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، با تودیع قرار وثیقه، آزاد شده بود.
با آغاز مراحل دادرسی، اولین جلسه محاکمه شهرام فلاح، در تاریخ ۴ بهمن ۱۴۰۲ و دومین جلسه دادرسی به اتهامات این شهروند بهایی هم در تاریخ ۵ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۳، توسط قاضی شعبه ۱دادگاه انقلاب کرمان، برگزار و این شهروند بهایی از بابت اتهام «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام» به محرومیت از حقوق اجتماعی با طول مدت تعلیق ۵ ساله محکوم شده بود.
در پی اعتراض و ارجاع پرونده شهرام فلاح، به شعبه ۷ دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان کرمان، قرار منع تعقیب وی صادر شده بود.
