Reports indicate that on 8 March 2025, Amir Faqih, a resident of Khoranj village in Piranshahr County, West Azerbaijan Province, and a political prisoner in Naqadeh Prison, was granted temporary leave. It is reported that he was released on a bail of 3 billion tomans for a period of seven days.
Amir Faqih was arrested on 23 May 2024, following a raid by security forces on his home in Khoranj village, and was transferred to a detention centre in Urmia. After undergoing interrogation and being formally charged, he was moved to Naqadeh County Prison.
During the judicial proceedings, Amir Faqih was tried online and in September 2024 was sentenced to five years of imprisonment for "collaboration with one of the Kurdish opposition parties against the Iranian government." In another case, he was sentenced to an additional five years for "acting against national security and collaborating with one of the opposition parties." His deprivation of judicial rights in these two cases follows previous reports about his situation.
براساس گزارش ها، در تاریخ 18 اسفند 1403، امیر فقه، اهل روستای خورنج از شهرستان پیرانشهر در استان آذربایجان غربی و زندانی سیاسی در زندان نقده، به مرخصی اعزام شد. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که او با تودیع وثیقه ای به ارزش 3 میلیارد تومان، برای مدت 7 روز به مرخصی رفته است.
امیر فقه در تاریخ 2 خرداد 1403، پس از یورش نیروهای امنیتی به منزلش در روستای خورنج، دستگیر و به بازداشتگاهی در ارومیه منتقل شد. پس از طی مراحل بازجویی و تفهیم اتهام، به زندان شهرستان نقده منتقل گردید.
در مراحل دادرسی، امیر فقه به صورت آنلاین محاکمه و در شهریور 1403 به اتهام «همکاری با یکی از احزاب کرد اپوزیسیون حکومت ایران» به 5 سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد. همچنین در پرونده ای دیگر، او به اتهام «اقدام علیه امنیت ملی کشور و همکاری با یکی از احزاب مخالف نظام» به 5 سال حبس تعزیری محکوم گردید. محرومیت او از حقوق قضایی در این دو پرونده در حالی است که پیشتر نیز گزارشی درباره وضعیت او منتشر شده بود.
