Asghar Hajeb, a member of the board of directors of the Bushehr Teachers' Trade Association, was arrested by security forces in Bushehr in May 2022. He was released on bail in June 2022. The Bushehr Provincial Criminal Court Branch Four convicted him of disturbing public order for participating in teachers' trade gatherings, sentencing him to a fine of twelve million tomans. However, on 18 February 2023, the Bushehr Provincial Court of Appeal Branch Three acquitted him of the charges.
He was again arrested by security forces on Wednesday, 22 April 2026. After weeks of detention, including time in solitary confinement and the general ward, he was released on heavy bail of seven billion tomans on the afternoon of 26 May 2026.
Reports indicate that the prosecutor's office charged him with "propaganda against the regime" and agreed to his temporary release until the court hearing. He is reported to suffer from a chronic heart condition.
اصغر حاجب، عضو هیأت مدیره کانون صنفی معلمان بوشهر، در اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۱ توسط نیروهای امنیتی در بوشهر بازداشت شد. وی چندی بعد در خرداد ۱۴۰۱، با تودیع وثیقه آزاد شد. وی توسط شعبه چهار دادگاه کیفری استان بوشهر، به اتهام اخلال در نظم عمومی به دلیل شرکت در تجمعات صنفی معلمان به پرداخت دوازده میلیون تومان جزای نقدی محکوم شد. ولی در تاریخ بیست و نهم بهمن ماه، توسط شعبه سوم دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان بوشهر صادر و به این فعالان صنفی ابلاغ شده، وی از اتهام منتسب تبرئه شد.
او مجددا در روز چهارشنبه ۲ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۵ توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شد. وی پس از هفته ها بازداشت و تحمل دوران نگهداری در سلول انفرادی و بند عمومی، ظهر روز ۵ خرداد ۱۴۰۵ با قرار وثیقه سنگین هفت میلیارد تومانی آزاد شد.
بر اساس گزارش ها، دادسرا با تفهیم اتهام «تبلیغ علیه نظام» و تا زمان برگزاری دادگاه، با آزادی موقت وی موافقت کرده است. وی به بیماری مزمن قلبی مبتلا است.
