The individual was arrested during nationwide protests on 11 January 2026. After being detained for over two months, they were temporarily released on bail on 13 March 2026, pending the completion of legal proceedings.
During their detention, the individual spent 31 days in Parsilon Detention Centre in Khorramabad and the remainder of the temporary detention period in the central prison of Khorramabad. While in detention, they were denied access to legal counsel and visits from their family.
