در جریان خیزش مردمی علیه حکومت جمهوری اسلامی؛ محمدابراهیم شامگاه جمعه ۱۹ دی ماه در مسعودیه هدف اصابت گلوله نیروهای سرکوب به قلبش قرار گرفت.
نیروهای سرکوب ابتدا میان معترضان گاز اشک آور زدند. جمعیت برای دقایقی پراکنده شد اما خیلی زود دوباره جمع شدند. محمدابراهیم حین شعار دادن پشت یک سطل زباله سنگر گرفت و وقتی بلند شد که برای دفاع از خود سنگی بردارد گلوله جنگی به قلبش اصابت کرد و از پشتش خارج شد.
او در مسیر انتقال به درمانگاه رازی در مسعودیه جان باخت.
نیروهای امنیتی پیکر محمدابراهیم را سه روز بعد با تعهد و تهدید به اجرای یک مراسم خاکسپاری کوچک به خانواده اش تحویل دادند. پیکر او روز سه شنبه ۲۲ دی ماه در آرامستان «بهشت زهرا» به خاک سپرده شد.
محمدابراهیم متولد ۲۰ دی سال ۱۳۸۵ بود. حکومت جمهوری اسلامی او را که سعی داشت خانواده تشکیل دهد درست یک روز پیش از تولد ۲۱ سالگی اش کشت. او یک خواهر بزرگ تر از خودش دارد.
آشنایان محمدابراهیم از او اینگونه یاد می کنند: «محمدابراهیم خیلی خانواده دوست بود. فرزند خوبی برای خانواده اش رفیق بامعرفت برای دوستانش و مردی مطمئن و پاک برای پارتنرش.»

During the national uprising against the Islamic Republic government Mohammad Ebrahim was shot in the heart by security forces on the evening of Friday January 8 in Masoudieh. The security forces initially used tear gas among the protesters. The crowd dispersed for a few minutes but quickly regrouped. Mohammad Ebrahim took cover behind a trash bin while chanting slogans and when he stood up to pick up a stone to defend himself a bullet struck his heart and exited through his back. He died on the way to Razi Clinic in Masoudieh.
Security forces delivered Mohammad Ebrahims body to his family three days later under the condition and threat of holding a small burial ceremony. His body was buried on Tuesday January 12 in Behesht Zahra Cemetery. Mohammad Ebrahim was born on January 10 2007. The Islamic Republic government killed him just one day before his 21st birthday while he was trying to start a family. He has an older sister.
Those who knew Mohammad Ebrahim remember him as someone who was very familyoriented a good son to his family a loyal friend to his companions and a reliable and pure man for his partner.
