Reports indicate that Abolfazl Shahri, a 19-year-old resident of Malekshahr, disappeared in Shahin Shahr on January 18, 2026. His lifeless body was discovered hours later on the side of one of the city's streets. According to information released by those close to Abolfazl Shahri's family, he had participated in protests on January 8 and 9. Following this, he received calls from security agencies, which had caused concern for his family.
