مانی حاجی حسن اهل تهران و تک فرزند، در تاریخ 8 دی 1401 در تهران به همراه مادر خود حضور داشت. در این روز، خیابان شلوغ شد و حدود سی تا چهل موتور سوار با لباس نظامی به سمت مردم یورش بردند و شروع به تیراندازی و شلیک گاز اشک آور کردند. یکی از گلوله های گاز اشک آور به چشم مانی اصابت کرد.

Mani Haji Hassan was hit by a tear gas bullet in the middle of the Islamic Republic officers in Tehran on December 29, 2022, causing blindness in his right eye.
Mani Haji-Hasan, a resident of Tehran and an only child, was in Tehran with his mother on 29 December 2022. On that day, the street became crowded as approximately thirty to forty motorcyclists in military attire charged towards the people, firing shots and tear gas. One of the tear gas canisters struck Mani in the eye.
