Behnam Golkhani, the father of Ahmad Golkhani, who was among those who lost their lives during the protests in January 2026, was arrested in Baghabadaran, a district in Isfahan Province, on Wednesday, 25 June 2026.
It was reported that Mr. Golkhani was detained after he used his Instagram story to invite people to gather at the gravesite of those who died in the protests by noon on Ashura in 2026.
According to the report, he was supposed to be released on Saturday, 27 June 2026. However, he remains in custody beyond this date, and no information has been released regarding his case status or any potential charges.
Ahmadreza (Ahmad) Golkhani, a citizen from Baghabadaran, died during the protests in December 2025. He was shot directly in front of the Baghabadaran police station.
بهنام گلخنی، پدر احمد گلخنی، از جان باختگان اعتراضات دی ماه ۱۴۰۴، روز چهارشنبه ۴ تیرماه ۱۴۰۵ در باغباد ران از توابع استان اصفهان بازداشت شد.
کمیته پیگیری خبر داد آقای گلخنی پس از آن بازداشت شد که در استوری اینستاگرام خود از مردم دعوت کرده بود تا ظهر عاشورای ۱۴۰۵ بر سر مزار جان باختگان اعتراضات حضور پیدا کنند.
بنابر این خبر قرار بود او روز شنبه ۶ تیرماه ۱۴۰۵ آزاد شود، اما با گذشت این موعد، همچنان در بازداشت است و اطلاعی از وضعیت پرونده یا اتهام های احتمالی او منتشر نشده است.
احمدرضا (احمد) گلخنی، شهروند اهل باغبادران، در جریان اعتراضات دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ جان باخت. او مقابل کلانتری باغبادران هدف شلیک مستقیم قرار گرفته بود.
