In September 2023, an individual was arrested at their home in Tehran and transferred to Evin Prison. Following the arrest, reports emerged of the individual being denied visits and contact with family. In January 2024, the Tehran Revolutionary Court issued a sentence of one year in prison, two years of exile, and a two-year ban on social media activities.

On 1 April 2026, the individual was arrested at a checkpoint on Fadaiyan-e Islam Street, reportedly involving the use of force by officers. Their mobile phone and identification documents were confiscated at the time of arrest. The individual was then transferred to Greater Tehran Prison and is currently held in Ward Six. They have not had any contact with family or close associates.

A political activist was sentenced to one year in prison by Branch Seven of the Tehran Revolutionary Court on charges of "propaganda against the regime." The sentence was issued and communicated on 11 July. According to available information, the court session for this individual's case was held on 10 July in Branch Seven of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.

Previously, on 1 April, the individual had been arrested at a Tehran checkpoint with the use of force and transferred to Greater Tehran Prison. After approximately three weeks of detention, they were temporarily released on bail on 25 April.
