On 24 June 2021, security forces raided the village of Alian in the Oshnavieh area, arresting Mehran Soleimanpour and Hashem Khoran without presenting a judicial warrant. They were transferred to the IRGC Intelligence Detention Centre in Urmia. During the arrest, the homes of these two individuals were searched, and their personal belongings were confiscated.
The court session for Mehran Soleimanpour was held on 13 March 2022 at the First Branch of the Oshnavieh Revolutionary Court, where he was sentenced to 18 months in prison on charges of collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party.
On 15 July 2021, this individual was temporarily released on bail of 300 million tomans. Reports indicate that his sentence was reduced to 13 months and 15 days after an appeal. Additionally, during his detention, he was denied access to a lawyer and family visits.
در تاریخ 3 تیر 1400، نیروهای امنیتی به روستای آلیان در منطقه اشنویه یورش بردند و مهران سلیمانپور و هاشم خوران را بدون ارائه حکم قضایی بازداشت و به بازداشتگاه اطلاعات سپاه در ارومیه منتقل کردند. در حین بازداشت، منازل این دو شهروند تفتیش و وسایل شخصی آنها ضبط شد.
جلسه دادگاه مهران سلیمانپور در تاریخ 22 اسفند 1400 در شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب اشنویه برگزار شد و وی به اتهام همکاری با یکی از احزاب کرد اپوزیسیون به 18 ماه حبس محکوم شد.
در تاریخ 24 تیر 1400، این شهروند با تودیع وثیقه 300 میلیون تومانی به صورت موقت آزاد شد. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که محکومیت وی پس از تسلیم به رأی به 13 ماه و 15 روز کاهش یافته است. همچنین، در مدت بازداشت، وی از دسترسی به وکیل و ملاقات با خانواده محروم بوده است.
