در تاریخ 21 تیرماه 1405، گزارش شده است که مجتبی زاهدی، شهروند اهل شهرستان جوین در استان خراسان رضوی، از بازداشت شدگان اعتراضات سراسری دی ماه 1404، همچنان به صورت بلاتکلیف در زندان وکیل آباد مشهد نگهداری می شود. اطلاعات حاکی از آن است که وی از زمان انتقال به این زندان تاکنون از ملاقات با خانواده محروم بوده و به بستگان او اعلام شده است که پرونده وی امنیتی است و باید در انتظار صدور حکم بمانند.
