Farhad Cheraghi Zadeh was killed by gunfire during protests in Kermanshah on 8 January 2026. Initially, he was shot in the leg and, while injured on the ground on Taq Bostan Boulevard in Kermanshah, he was fatally shot in the abdomen.
His family began searching for him in Kermanshah hospitals from that date and, after checking all hospitals, they were informed of his body at the city's forensic medicine facility. Reports indicate that after Farhad was injured, officers fired three more bullets into his abdomen.
It has also been reported that a written commitment was obtained from his family not to hold any ceremonies or gatherings regarding his death before his body was handed over. Consequently, he was buried in the city on 11 January 2026. Farhad was a worker and married.
فرهاد چراغی زاده در تاریخ 18 دی 1404 در جریان اعتراضات مردم کرمانشاه به ضرب گلوله کشته شد. او ابتدا از ناحیه پا هدف گلوله قرار گرفت و سپس در حالی که در بلوار طاق بستان کرمانشاه مجروح بر زمین افتاده بود، با شلیک های دیگری به ناحیه شکم جان باخت.
خانواده فرهاد جستجو برای پیدا کردن او در بیمارستان های کرمانشاه را از همان تاریخ آغاز کردند و پس از بررسی همه بیمارستان ها، از پیکر او در پزشکی قانونی این شهر مطلع شدند. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که ماموران پس از مجروح شدن فرهاد، سه گلوله دیگر به شکم او شلیک کرده اند.
همچنین گزارش شده است که برای تحویل پیکر او به خانواده اش، از آنها تعهد کتبی گرفته شد که مراسم و تجمعی در این باره نداشته باشند و به این ترتیب، پیکر او در تاریخ 21 دی 1404 در این شهر به خاک سپرده شد. فرهاد کارگر و متاهل بود.
