علی اصغر شیری ۳۵ ساله در جریان اعتراضات سراسری ایران ۱۹ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ در صباشهر شهریار با شلیک گلوله ی نیروهای سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی به سینه اش مجروح شد.
به گفته ی یک منبع مطلع همراهان او به مدت ۳ ساعت به بیمارستان های شهریار و کرج مراجعه می کردند اما بیمارستان ها از پذیرش پیکر مجروح او ممانعت کردند و حتی در این هنگام نیروهای سرکوبگر به سمت خودروی آنان شلیک کردند در نهایت علی اصغر شیری به دلیل شدت جراحات و عدم رسیدگی پزشکی کشته شد.

Ali Asghar Shiri, 35 years old, was injured in Sabashahr, Shahriar, during the nationwide protests in Iran on January 9, 2026, when he was shot in the chest by the suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic. A knowledgeable source reported that his companions sought medical help for three hours at hospitals in Shahriar and Karaj, but the hospitals refused to admit his injured body. During this time, the suppressive forces even fired at their vehicle. Ultimately, Ali Asghar Shiri died due to the severity of his injuries and lack of medical attention. Ali Asghar Shiri was the father of a 10-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son.
