Seyed Darvishi was recently detained after being summoned to the Enforcement Branch of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office in Urmia. He was transferred to Urmia Central Prison to serve his sentence.
On 23 September 2024, security forces in Urmia arrested a citizen residing in West Azerbaijan Province. This individual had been sentenced to eight months in prison for charges related to propaganda against the regime.
Seyed Darvishi was initially arrested by security forces in early November 2023 on a street in Urmia. After being transferred to the detention centre of the West Azerbaijan Province Intelligence Office and undergoing interrogation, he was moved to Urmia Central Prison, where he remained in uncertainty. On 31 December 2023, he was released on bail of one billion tomans until the completion of legal proceedings.
It has also been reported that Farjad Darvishi, a resident of Balow village near Urmia and brother of Seyed Darvishi, lost his life on 20 September 2022 during nationwide protests related to the death of Mahsa Amini.
صیاد درویشی به تازگی پس از احضار به شعبه اجرای احکام دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب ارومیه، بازداشت و به زندان مرکزی ارومیه منتقل شد. این اقدام برای سپری کردن دوران حبس تعزیری وی انجام شده است.
در تاریخ 1 مهر 1403، ماموران امنیتی در ارومیه یک شهروند را بازداشت کردند. این فرد که ساکن استان آذربایجان غربی است، در مراحل دادرسی به اتهام تبلیغ علیه نظام به ۸ ماه حبس محکوم شده بود.
صیاد درویشی اوایل آبان 1402 در یکی از خیابان های ارومیه توسط نیروهای امنیتی دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه اداره کل اطلاعات استان آذربایجان غربی و طی مراحل بازجویی به زندان مرکزی ارومیه منتقل شد و در بلاتکلیفی به سر می برد. در تاریخ 10 دی 1402، با تودیع وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۱ میلیارد تومان تا اتمام مراحل دادرسی آزاد شد.
همچنین گزارش شده است که فرجاد درویشی، اهل روستای بالو از توابع ارومیه و برادر صیاد درویشی، در تاریخ 29 شهریور 1401، در جریان اعتراضات سراسری مرتبط با جان باختن مهسا امینی، جان خود را از دست داد.
