آرش نیکخو، فعال محیط زیست و بنیان گذار «یگان سیاوش»، در منزل شخصی خود در شهر دهدشت، استان کهگیلویه و بویراحمد، توسط ماموران امنیتی بازداشت شد. نیکخو در زمینه حفاظت از جنگل های زاگرس شناخته شده است. «یگان سیاوش» یک سازمان مردم نهاد است که با مشارکت داوطلبان محلی و کمک های مردمی در زمینه پیشگیری و مهار آتش سوزی جنگل های زاگرس و حفاظت از حیات وحش غرب و جنوب غرب ایران فعالیت می کند. این گروه در بحران های زیست محیطی ملی نیز مشارکت داشته و در آتش سوزی های جنگل های هیرکانی به نیروهای مردمی کمک کرده است. آرش نیکخو با فعالیت های میدانی و آموزشی، به آگاهی بخشی درباره بحران های زیست محیطی پرداخته است. گزارش شده است که او پیش تر نیز از سوی نهادهای امنیتی تهدید و احضار شده بود.
