مونا حسینی کاظمی، کارشناس رادیولوژی، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴در ملک شهر اصفهان هنگامی که به همراه دخترش در حال جابه جایی جهیزیه بود، هدف گلوله های ساچمه ای قرار گرفت و جان باخت. در این تیراندازی، صورت مونا حسینی و دست های دختر و دامادش نیز آسیب دید. هر سه به بیمارستان غرضی اصفهان منتقل شدند و اعلام شد که مونا حسینی جان خود را از دست داده است. گزارش شده است که مونا در مسیر انتقال به بیمارستان از سوزش شدید در ناحیه صورت و بدنش شکایت داشت.

From Malekshahr of Esfahan and a cardiology specialist, she was shot dead on Friday
, 19 Dey 1404 (9 January 2026), during the Iranian year 1404 (2025/26) nationwide uprising.
Mona Hosseini Kazemi, a radiology expert, was fatally shot with pellet bullets in Malekshahr, Isfahan, on 8 January 2026, while moving dowry items with her daughter. During the shooting, Mona Hosseini's face and the hands of her daughter and son-in-law were injured. All three were transferred to Gharazi Hospital in Isfahan, where it was announced that Mona Hosseini had passed away. It was reported that Mona complained of severe burning in her face and body on the way to the hospital.
