On Friday, September 25, 2026, government forces stormed the family home of Obeid Zardkouhi in the village of Sorkehuran, Iranshahr County, and opened fire without any prior warning. As a result of the direct shooting by these forces, Obeid Zardkouhi was killed.
During this raid, another Baloch citizen, Jasem Jamali from the village of Gornak, was arrested and taken to an unknown location.
