Faraz Haghighi, a Gilak citizen from Rasht and born in 1997, was arrested three days ago on February 14 2026, at around 10:00 AM in the Zibakenar area by the forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to informed sources, he was being sought before his arrest and was severely beaten during his arrest, causing serious injuries to his arms and legs. So far, there is no information about his physical condition, where he is being held, or whether he has access to a lawyer or family.
