Ahmad Barakouhi, a victim of deliberate shooting in the eye in 2017, has been summoned on charges of "propaganda against the regime."
Ahmad Barakouhi is a member of the Dervishes who lost sight in one eye due to a pellet strike during the Golestan Haftom incident.
He shared an image of his eye condition and announced his summons to the Qarchak Revolutionary Court on charges of propaganda against the regime.
In March 2018, during a raid by security forces on the Dervishes present at Golestan Haftom, Barakouhi, whose eye was struck by security forces' pellets, was arrested along with his wife, brother, and brother-in-law and transferred to prison without receiving medical treatment.
This imprisoned Dervish lost complete vision in one eye due to the impact of the security forces' bullets and the prison officials' prevention of medical treatment.
In that year, Barakouhi was sentenced by the Tehran Revolutionary Court to seven years of imprisonment and two years of exile to the province of Sistan and Baluchestan, which was reduced to two years of imprisonment upon appeal.

براکوهی در اسفند ۹۶ هنگام یورش نیروهای امنیتی به دراویش حاضر در گلستان هفتم؛ در حالی که چشمش مورد اصابت گلوله های ساچمه ای نیروهای امنیتی قرار گرفته بود به همراه همسر، برادر و دامادش دستگیر و بدون طی روند درمان به زندان منتقل شد.
این درویش زندانی، بر اثر اصابت گلوله نیروهای امنیتی و ممانعت مسئولین زندان از درمان ، بینایی یک چشم خود را به طور کامل از دست داده است.
براکوهی در آن سال توسط دادگاه انقلاب تهران به ۷ سال حبس تعزیری و دو سال تبعید به استان سیستان و بلوچستان محکوم شد که این حکم در دادگاه تجدیدنظر به دو سال حبس تعزیری تقلیل یافت.
