Farzad Moradi, a young man from Izeh, was arrested at his workplace on 27 January 2026. He is currently undergoing interrogation and faces the imminent risk of execution. It has been reported that his family has been informed that the sentence will be carried out soon.
During his detention and interrogation, Moradi reportedly faced severe violence, with multiple injuries observed, including a broken nose, head and facial trauma, and internal bleeding. At one point, he was transferred to Imam Hospital in Ahvaz, where several disposable spoons were removed from his stomach. However, reports indicate that his treatment was not completed, and despite objections from medical staff, he was returned to detention.
Moradi is currently being held in the quarantine section of Shayban Prison in Ahvaz. Additionally, it has been reported that he has not been granted free access to a lawyer, and there are serious ambiguities surrounding the judicial process in his case.
فرزاد مرادی، جوان اهل ایذه در سه شنبه ۷ بهمن ۱۴۰۴ در محل کار خود دستگیر شد. او تحت بازجویی قرار گرفته و با خطر اجرای قریب الوقوع حکم اعدام مواجه است. منابع مطلع می گویند به خانواده او اطلاع داده شده که حکم به زودی اجرا خواهد شد.
فرزاد مرادی در جریان بازداشت و بازجویی با خشونت شدید مواجه شده و آثار جراحات متعدد از جمله شکستگی بینی، ضربات به سر و صورت و خونریزی داخلی در او مشاهده شده بود. او در مقطعی در بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۴ به بیمارستان امام اهواز منتقل شد و چندین قاشق یکبار مصرف از معده او خارج شد، اما بنا بر گزارش ها، روند درمان وی کامل نشده و با وجود مخالفت کادر درمان، به بازداشتگاه بازگردانده شده است.
فرزاد مرادی هم اکنون در بخش قرنطینه زندان شیبان اهواز نگهداری می شود. همچنین گزارش شده که در این پرونده، امکان دسترسی آزادانه به وکیل فراهم نشده و روند دادرسی با ابهامات جدی همراه بوده است.
