Mohsen Arasti, 46 years old, passed away during protests in Qazvin on 8 January 2026. Known as one of the top trial motorcyclists in the province, he was present at the protests. Reports indicate that he was shot on Babayi Street during the demonstrations and died instantly.
Born in Shahrivar 1358 in Qazvin, Mohsen Arasti held an associate degree and was recognised as an innovative employer in the city, successfully managing his dairy workshop.
Reports suggest that a laser light was observed on his body before the shooting. Following the incident, his body was transferred to the hospital and was handed over to his family the next day. Security forces reportedly required his family and acquaintances to commit not to hold a mourning ceremony or print an obituary for his passing.
Mohsen Arasti was recognised as an entrepreneur, professional motorcyclist, and capable mountaineer, and he had expressed concerns about the economic situation and the country's governance.

محسن آراستی متولد شهریور 1358 در قزوین بود و دارای مدرک فوق دیپلم بود. او به عنوان کارفرمایی خوش فکر در شهر قزوین شناخته می شد و کارگاه لبنیات خود را با موفقیت اداره می کرد.
گزارش ها نشان می دهند که پیش از شلیک، نور لیزری بر روی بدن او مشاهده شده بود. پس از وقوع حادثه، پیکر او به بیمارستان منتقل شد و یک روز بعد به خانواده اش تحویل داده شد. نیروهای امنیتی از خانواده و اطرافیان او تعهد گرفته بودند که مراسم عزاداری برگزار نکنند و اعلامیه ای برای درگذشت او چاپ نشود.
محسن آراستی به عنوان کارآفرین، موتورسوار حرفه ای و کوهنوردی قابل شناخته می شد و نسبت به وضعیت اقتصادی و شیوه اداره کشور اعتراض داشت.
