به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز چهارشنبه ۵ مهر ماه ۱۴۰۲، سجاد رستم زاده، روزنامه نگار و سردبیر پایگاه خبری ماسال نیوز، پس از احضار به پلیس فتا و تفهیم اتهام، بازداشت و پس از طی مراحل بازپری و تفهیم اتهام با تودیع وثیقه آزاد شد.
براساس این گزارش، بازداشت سجاد رستم زاده، پس در پی احضار وی به پلیس فتا شهرستان ماسال صورت گرفته و برخی لوازم شخصی از قبیل گوشی تلفن همراه وی نیز توقیف شد.
سجاد رستم زاده، پس از بازداشت برای تفهیم اتهام و صدور قرار بازداشت موقت به دادسرا، منتقل و در نهایت به بازداشتگاه نیروی انتظامی منتقل و پس از تامین و تودیع وثیقه درخواستی، روز پنجشنبه ۶ مهر ماه ۱۴۰۲، تا اتمام مراحل دادرسی، آزاد شد.
