Mona Dabbagh, a Kurdish citizen from Sanandaj, was detained after being summoned to the enforcement branch of the Revolutionary Court in the city. She was transferred to the women's ward of the central prison in Sanandaj to serve a sentence of three years and six months. This facility is referred to by government media as a "correctional and rehabilitation centre." Dabbagh had been arrested during a 40-day conflict.
Previously, the First Branch of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court sentenced Mona Dabbagh to three years and six months for "propaganda activities in support of the Zionist regime" and one year for "propaganda against the regime."
