در تاریخ 1 دی 1401، گزارش شده است که یک شهروند به نام مسعود بیرانوند از شهرستان بروجرد، در تاریخ 6 آبان همان سال، هنگامی که به همراه خانواده برای خرید لوازم منزل مشغول خرید بودند، توسط چند مأمور لباس شخصی مورد حمله قرار گرفت. او برای دفاع از خود و خانواده اش با آنها درگیر شد و پس از آن در خیابان حافظ شمالی شهرستان بروجرد بازداشت شد. همچنین گزارش شده است که وی در زندان تحت شکنجه های بدنی و روحی شدید قرار گرفته است.

On 22 December 2022, it was reported that a citizen named Masoud Beiranvand from Borujerd was attacked by several plainclothes officers on 28 October 2022. The incident occurred while he was shopping for household items with his family. He engaged in a confrontation with the officers to defend himself and his family and was subsequently arrested on Hafez Shomali Street in Borujerd. It has also been reported that he was subjected to severe physical and psychological torture while in prison.
