سید مهدی حسینی، تتوآرتیست اهل تهران، در جریان اعتراضات دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و پس از رسیدگی قضایی به پنج سال حبس محکوم شده است. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که حسینی با اتهام های «اجتماع و تبانی به قصد ارتکاب جرم علیه امنیت کشور» و «تبلیغ علیه نظام» مواجه شده و در نهایت به پنج سال حبس محکوم شده است.
