He committed suicide two days after releasing from prison.
Arshia Emamgholizadeh was only 16 years old from Jolfa, East Azerba. He was arrested for the "crime" of "knocking off the turban" of a Mullah ten days before his death, and he committed suicide two days after her release on 8 December 2022.
An informed source adds: "Arshaya told her mother a painful story about the tortures in prison so that Arshaya's mother was very worried about her condition and constantly took care of her until once his mother and father wanted to go out, Arshaya asked them, leave him alone.
When Arshaya's mother leaves the house, she sends this message to her mother: "Mom, I love you and take care of yourself."
Arshaya's mother gets worried about him and quickly returns home, but she encounters his lifeless body when she reaches home.
Speaking to his mother after his release, Arshiya said, "They gave me an injection from the heel, and I was beaten with a baton, they burned my ears with a lighter, and they gave me pills."
